Daytime Smokey Eye
I love a smokey eye so I created a daytime version that wouldn't be as dramatic as an evening look. You could easily amp this look up by applying a charcoal at the outer corners of the eyes and in the crease of the eye. And apply a darker gray on the upper lid. Use a black eyeliner to outline the upper and the lower rim of the eye. And vola you have an evening look.
Plum/Green and Gold Eye
The model is me and the make up application can be worn day or night.I first applied a plum eyeshadow on the upper lid and a green in the crease of the eye and a gold on the brow bone directly under the eyebrow. I used a black eyeliner to line the upper lid and I used the same liner a 1/4 way on the bottom rim of the eye. And I added a cat eye for excitement.

Fashion Show - Moschino Cheap And Chic
So cute!
Fashion Week - Front Row
Do you ever wonder who really sits in the front row of fashion shows during Fashion Week, I know I do! I remember watching Sex In The City the movie, Samantha got tickets for the girls to attend a fashion show during fashion week, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte where so impressed to be setting on the front row. What's up with the front row, besides being able to see better then those in the back rows, and who gets to sit in those seats? Well with a little research I found out!
The A-List reads like a who's who in fashion and in
The reason the front row is so hot, is the designer’s clothes. The designers’, need the A-list to influence the public to buy their clothes, because celeb opinions do matter, they are placed in the front row because of who they are and strength of their public appeal. There are only four weeks that will influence the way we dress from season to season, and there is no other event that will have the same impact on fashion-as Fashion Week. So the A-list is on hand to promote it, to experience the sites and sounds of the latest outfits for the upcoming season, and to socialize with one another.

Super Star Makeup Artist - Pat McGrath
Enough can't be said for a makeup genius like Pat McGrath. She is the hardest working and always in demand makeup artist in the world! I admire her ability to create new looks that are whimsical, inspirational and beautiful. I ask myself "what is her secret?" All who come in contact with her say she is the best in the industry and models embrace her with great admiration. That's just who Ms. McGrath is, a real person with a creative soul. I am an aspiring makeup artist, a neophyte in this fantastic industry and I hope to be half as good as Ms. McGrath! She inspires me to reach the heights she has achieved. I hope to get there some day, it would be a surreal dream come true. I will be keeping a sharp eye on this very special lady. Ms. McGrath, I have my running shoes on and I'm right behind you!
Fashion Show - Oscar de La Renta
I have two words that describes this designers impeccable taste and that is class and sophistication. His spring 2010 collection was breath taking to say the least! From teal to orange and oh yes lets not forget black, his clothes spoke volumes. The many textures gave each piece a life of it's own. I saw pieces that could be worn by all ages, the versatility in this collection was almost endless.

Pure Makeup Foundation by Maybelline
I think this is one of the best foundations I have used on my skin. I have oily skin and this shine-free foundation is mostly water based and formulated not to clog your pores with unwanted oils which can cause breakouts! It is easy to apply and goes on smooth without blotching or streaking.
Try it and tell me what you think.

Fashion Show - Ralph Lauren
One of my favorite designers and his spring 2010 collection is retro yet up to date, with his metallic fabrics and his ultra fem florals, he whisked me back to the 1920's. His pin striped suit reminded me of Bonnie and Clyde or the movie the Great Gatsby. The floral dresses where to die for, sexy yet very feminine. The overalls where fun, worn and looked very comfortable. This spring collection was a play on the past yet it had something new to offer. The makeup was a daytime look, rosy cheeks and a soft rose lip along with a very subtile smokey eye the look was minimal which complemented every piece in the collection. This collection moved me emotionally and I always say if you aren't touched emotionally by something it may not be for you!
I hope you enjoy the show as much as I did!
